Perfect-Sync Narration
Add professional narration that automatically syncs with your visual elements. No manual timing required.
Choose a narrator voice
In the Animate editor, click the speaker icon in the toolbar. You get a list of available voices.
Distinguish between:
- AI voices: Natural-sounding voices generated instantly. Available in Swedish, English and more languages. Different tones - from calm and explanatory to energetic and sales-oriented. - Studio voice: A professional speaker records your script. Higher quality, longer delivery time.
For quick production, AI voices are the best choice. They sound natural and are available immediately.
Generate narration for the full video
Once you have chosen a voice, click "Generate". SkillGround reads through the entire script, clip by clip, and creates an audio file for each segment.
The process typically takes 15-30 seconds for a two-minute video. Meanwhile you can continue editing other parts of the project.
Understand how Perfect-Sync works
Here is where it gets interesting. Perfect-Sync analyses the narrator's timing for each clip and adjusts the visual elements automatically.
If the narrator speaks more slowly in a clip, the animation stretches to fill the time. If the narrator is faster, visual transitions are compressed.
The result is that picture and sound follow each other naturally without you having to manually move a single element on the timeline.
Fine-tune individual clips
Sometimes you want to adjust individual clips. Maybe the pause between two clips is too short, or you want a particular clip to have a calmer pace.
You can:
- Add pauses before or after a clip - Change the narration speed on individual clips - Regenerate the voice for a single clip with different settings
Changes only affect the selected clip. The rest of the video keeps its timing.
Switch languages and localise
Perfect-Sync works just as well for localisation. If you have a Swedish video and want to make an English version:
1. Create a language version of the project 2. Translate or write a new script in English 3. Choose an English voice 4. Generate and let Perfect-Sync adjust the visual elements
Since each language has its own tempo and cadence, Perfect-Sync is particularly valuable for localisation. A direct translation is often longer or shorter than the original - Perfect-Sync handles the difference automatically.
