Sandvik Mining, one of the world's leading suppliers of mining equipment, needed to train operators and engineers in sublevel stoping - a complex mining method requiring deep understanding of safety, workflows, and equipment. Existing training relied on classroom instruction and documentation that was difficult to standardize across Sandvik's global operations. Training needed to work in 10 languages and be accessible to technicians in mine shafts as well as engineers in offices. The content was technically demanding, with specific work processes requiring visual explanation rather than text.

SkillGround produced 60 minutes of interactive training content divided into modules covering the entire sublevel stoping process. Production consisted of approximately 360 clips combining technical animations with interactive elements and knowledge checks. Each module was built to function standalone or in sequence, allowing operators to focus on the parts relevant to their role. Localization to 10 languages was handled with SkillGround's multilingual editor and AI voiceover. Sandvik received access to the SkillGround platform with 10 administrator accounts and capacity for 250 learners. 24 onboarding sessions ensured that training managers at each market could manage the material independently.
